The University of East Anglia organizes an American Studies Taster Lecture and debate with the University of Reading on February 7, 2022.

Students are welcome to the panel of academics, representing different disciplines and universities. Each will have five minutes at the beginning of the session to outline the key issues, as they see them, relating to The American Dream, before opening the discussion up to students' questions and comments.

The University of Reading will be represented by Dr. Mark Shanahan from the Department of Politics & International Relations and UEA will be represented by  Professor Mark Jancovich, Professor of Film Studies, from the School of Art, Media, and American Studies.

The academics will then share their perspectives with plenty of opportunities for students to engage in the discussion.
