The SAT (Scholastic Aptitude Test) exam is a program created and run by the College Board in the United States. This exam is intended for students wishing to take bachelor's degree in prestigious universities in the United States and Turkey.
SAT is a program that checks the students reading, writing and math skills.
SAT exam is divided into 2 groups:
SAT 1 - Reasoning Test
SAT 2 - Subject Test
SAT 1- Reasoning Test Exam consists of 3 parts:
- Mathematics
- Critical Reading (critical reading and working on text)
- Writing (writing skills) Each part is estimated with 200-800 points. The duration of the exam lasts 3 hours and 45 minutes.
SAT 2 - Subject test
This section is a 1-hour test exam to test the student's specific knowledge. There
are subject tests on chemistry, physics, biology, and history, German, Spanish and
Italian.
Before registering for a SAT exam, the student must specify the type of SAT exam
required by the university and then register online for the exam.
The English language level must be minimum upper-intermediate to prepare for
SAT exam. SAT certificate validity period is 5 years.
