One of the world-renowned universities - the University of Leicester continues to support the importance of women's education.

Tuesday on 30 November 2021 University organizes an online event - Girls into Geoscience.

This event will be held free and all girls interested in geoscience in years 7;8; 9 can take their part in various activities such as virtual field trips; live experiments; tester lectures; information about programs and faculties, etc.

Besides this, they will have the opportunity to meet with scientists, alumni, and employees, and in the Q&A part, they will be able to get all the answers to their questions.

According to the Research Assessment Study, Leicester University is ranked 46th place out of 115 universities. Leicester is a commercial and cosmopolitan city with approximately 300,000 inhabitants. The area of the city is surrounded by forests. It is located 160 km north of London.
