The University of Goldsmith organizes an online event that's planning to discuss a day of a lawyer.
This event aims to make it easy to understand if they are ready to work for a commercial, corporate or tax law firm in the City or if they aspire to go into criminal law practice or defend human rights working for an NGO.
Goldsmiths University London Law faculty, legal practitioners, and legal experts from NGOs will reflect on “one day of their lives” as lawyers, attorneys, anti-money laundering officers, prosecutors, journalists, or human rights defenders. NGO experts will provide several examples and answer questions about future career prospects in these areas.
The event will take place on Wednesday 12 January 2022, 4.00-5.30pm, and mainly directed at Year 12 and Year 13 students, mature students, parents and teachers, and students who are at the stage of choosing GCSE subjects but is also suitable for students who are currently studying law, or who are new to the subject but are considering studying it at university.
