The VSFS University was established in 1998 by the Bank Academy and the Czech Coal Group. It is one of the oldest Business University in the Czech Republic. The University is located in Prague, one of the safest cities in Czech Republic. The VSFS University is officially recognized as a Czech private higher education institution by the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sport. In 2001, the
University began to collaborate with the City University of Seattle. In 2004, it was joined the Erasmus program, the European Credit Transfer and Accumulation System (ECTS) system. Currently, about 6,000 students study at the university, including 1200 international students from 56 different countries. The academic staff of the University consists of 400 qualified teachers and professors. The University offers educational programs for local and regional executive authorities, besides the bachelors, masters, doctoral programs in English. The University has three modern and large campuses. Each campus has a canteen, game halls, multimedia center, library, IT labs.
