Mercer University, founded in 1833, is one of America's oldest and most advanced universities. The university has a wide range of bachelor's degrees, master and doctorate degrees programs. Mercer is ranked at the top level of national research universities by U.S. News & World Report. The University currently has 8,600 students. The University has 12 schools and colleges in Macon, Atlanta and Savannah city campuses; 3 medical schools in Macon, Savannah and Columbus; and three Regional Academic Centers in the state of Georgia. Nancy Grace, a famous journalist and commentator on the American HLN channel, graduated from the Walter F. George School of Law, which is part of Mercer University.
